Rocky is a lovely 5 year old Staffy who is looking for an experienced home who can help him progress with his training. He is looking for a home with children who are aged 12 years and over. This does include visiting. He is looking for a family that would like to do training and go exploring to keep him busy both physically and mentally.

Type of home needed

Rocky finds it overwhelming to be around other dogs so for this reason needs to be the only pet in the home and with no neighbouring dogs. Further socialisation will be required at a pace that suits him. We are looking for him to stay on lead and wear a muzzle when in public. It would be best for him to walk in quiet, dog free areas where he can enjoy relaxing walks. Having direct access to his own secure garden with 5ft fence to give him his own safe place to enjoy some time offlead.

More about me

Rocky is a very clever boy who loves learning new things and will really benefit from a family that want to teach him lots of new tricks! He is a very affectionate dog and will make a wonderful companion given some time to settle. To apply to adopt Rocky please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
