Arthur is 10 Yrs who is looking for a home where he can have space to settle in and enjoy retirement. He has a few quirks and would be suited to someone with terrier experience.

Type of home needed

He needs an adult home with no pets or children. Once he knows you he is very sweet but can be protective of toys or chews so when he is occupied needs to be left alone. Arthur will come to you in his own time & enjoys a fuss but little and often is best so he doesn't feel overwhelmed.

More about me

Arthur will need a secure private garden to allow him time outside off lead. His new owners will need to be pateint and understand that he is an independant boy. He can be left for a few hours and is fully housetrained. Arthur is very sweet with his foster carer & sits on her knee,it took a little while to get to that stage but patience and time brings out the best in him. a To apply to adopt Arthur please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Cumbria Virtual Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
