Jax came into our care as a stray so his background information is very limited. He can find life a little overwhelming at times so will need a gentle and patient family to give him lots of time and space to settle in his new home. He can be worried by new people, particularly men so will need a family who are commited to visiting him at that centre a few times to build a relationship with him before he goes home. He has come out of his shell since arriving with us and is sure to come on in leaps and bounds at home.

Type of home needed

Jax will need a quiet home environment with access to his own private garden with a 6ft fence. As he can be worried in new situations he will need to be kept on lead and muzzled when in public so having his own garden gives him somewhere to have an off lead run around. He would love somewhere to run around with his toys. Someone who is home most of the day would also be perfect for him although he can be left for 2 - 3 hours. He can live with children who are 16 years old and above and will need to be the only pet in the home.

More about me

Jax will make a great addition in his next home. Once he has built up a relationship with someone he is a very cuddly boy and wants lots of here " attention from his new friend! He just needs some time to come out of his shell! He will make an excellent addition to his new home!To apply for Jax please click on the "rehoming me starts here" button below. We will close applications once we have found a suitable home.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
