Billy

I'm looking for a new home...

About Billy

Billy hasn't had the best start to life and as a result is looking for a very understanding owner who can take things slowly with him and give him the life he deserves. He would benefit from living with experienced owners who are happy to work with him on his training needs using positive reward based training. He takes his time getting to know and trust people but once he does he is a lovely little companion. He will make a great addition in the right home.

Type of home needed

Billy is looking for a quiet home environment with few visitors. Children should be over the age of 18 years to live Billy or visit the home. He needs direct access to his own garden with a 6ft fence. This will give him somewhere to enjoy off lead time as he will need to remain on lead and muzzle when in public places. Billy can find new people or new situations overwhelming and can get worried quite easily which has resulted in a bite previously. Being on lead and muzzle will help keep him and others safe in these situations.

More about me

Billy would prefer to be the only pet in the home to ensure that he gets all time and support he needs to help him settle and build a relationship with his new owners. He would like to meet his new owners a few times before going home to start this bond. To apply to adopt him please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
