I'm looking for a new home...

About Edward

2 to 5 Years

Edward is a sweet boy who has struggled with kennels so we are looking for a special home that can help him settle back into home life. We are looking for an adult only home (18 years plus) with plenty of time to dedicate to turning this boys life around. Originally found as a stray at a young age he deserves his happy ever after. He would suit a training minded owner happy to work with our training and behaviour team.

Type of home needed

Edward would love to be the centre of attention in his home as the only pet. Having direct access to his own secure garden with a 6ft fence is essential as Edward will need to be kept on lead when in public places. Having his own garden will give him somewhere to stretch his legs and have a bit of freedom. Active owners would be ideal as this young boy has plenty of energy and loves to be kept busy. Having previous experience of owning a dog is essential as Edward does get a little OTT at times and needs his owner to encourage calm behaviours.

More about me

Environment is key for Edward and a quiet household and quiet areas to walk would be best for him. Edward will need someone at home with him most of the day to build up the time he is left alone. Edward can be a sensitive lad so needs a gentle owner with patience to build his confidence. He will make a wonderful companion in his next home as he has so much love to give and enjoys nothing more than being close to his favourite people. To apply to adopt Edward please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match. We can only contact the suitable applicant.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
