Covid-19 update: Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with social distancing measures in place to keep our staff and adopters safe.

Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us. We’ve set up new processes to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe, including matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free.

Local restrictions may affect our rehoming procedures, so please check the rules for your area: we’re not able to facilitate appointments or adoptions across different tiers, or anywhere there are travel restrictions.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

Likes

Teddy is a lovely wee boy who is always on the go. He loves his exercise and playing with squeaky toys! He is full of beans and will need an owner who can keep up with him. Teddy is working extremely hard on his training, he is constantly learning and improving and will need to live with someone with previous experience of owning a dog.

Type of home needed

Teddy can live with people aged 16 years old or over and needs his own secure garden to play in. Teddy is looking to be the only dog in the home. He needs a very active home who is willing to give him the exercise he needs and loves. Teddy needs someone who is around most of the day to help him with his training. A calm, quiet home would benefit him.

More about me

Teddy would love to build a relationship with his new family. This will require multiple trips to the centre to spend time with him to build a bond. It will be time well spent! To apply to rehome me please click the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match. Due to a high volume of interest we will only be able to contact successful applications.I am looking for a home wihin 1 hour of the centre

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Teddy, who is based at Glasgow. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
