Molly is an affectionate girl with people she knows well but can be worried by some handling. She is looking for an understanding owner who can give her some space to settle. She does well with positive, reward based training and warms up quickly given a little time and some treats. Having experience of owning dogs is a must to give her the best start in her new home. Molly is only back with us due to her owners ill health and she deserves the pawfect forever home.

Type of home needed

Molly is looking for an adult only (18 years plus)home with people who can give her space if and when she needs it. She may be indifferent at first and will benefit from having an owner who will let her take small steps in her own time. Once she has a bond with you she loves to be on your knee for some fuss! Having a quiet home with few visitors would be best as she can be worried in new situations or with new people. She will need to be kept on lead when in public for this reason. Having direct access to her own secure garden with 5ft fence will give her somewhere to potter around at her leisure.

More about me

Molly can be left for a few hours at a time quite happily but does need out regularly for toilet breaks. She must be the only pet in the home to receive all the attention she deserves. She can walk on lead near some of her dog friends here at the rehoming centre but doesn't enjoy close interactions. This is something her new owners can work on further at home. She will make a great companion with the right owners. To apply to adopt Molly please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
