Reggie is a fantastic big guy who is with us through no fault of his own. He is a friendly big chap who will fit well into most households. Having some dog experience would be best as he will need some continued support with his doggy diet once home.

Type of home needed

Reggie has grown up with children and could live with kids aged 14 years and older. He has lived with another dog on a temporary basis and but he isn't overly interested in making friends with other dogs when out on walks and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Reggie is getting older and prefers a quiet life with shorter walks. A secure garden with 5ft fence would give him somewhere safe to potter around.

More about me

It would be best for Reggie to have someone around for most of the day to help him settle in, but once he has found his feet he could be left for 3 to 4 hours and is housetrained. He is a loveable big boy who is going to bring a lot of happiness to his new family. He does have some medical information that his new owners will need to be aware of but we will discuss this at length with the successful applicant. Please do not let that put you off applying for this handsome and happy boy. He will make a wonderful addition in his new home. To apply to adopt Reggie please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
