I'm looking for a new home...

About Toffee

5 to 7 Years

Toffee is a stunning big boy who needs an experienced owner to offer the time and support that he may need to adjust to home life. He is a very powerful boy so he will need an owner who is able to manage him on lead. Having previous experience with mastiffs is preferred but previous dog experience is a must.

Type of home needed

Toffee came to us after being found as a stray. He is looking for a new start in life and will need a confident owner who can continue with the training that he has started while with us. He is reactive towards other dogs meaning a more rural environment would suit him best and would make walkies a more enjoyable experience for all. He will need to be kept on lead and muzzled when in public so will need to have direct access to his own private garden with 6ft fence to let him enjoy some time off lead. He is looking to be the only pet in the home and would love to have his human companions around for most of the day although he could be left for a couple of hours once settled. He will need to meet his new owner a few times before going home, he will be your best friend in no time when allowed to go at his own pace.

More about me

Toffee is looking for an adult only home, 18 years plus, with no visiting children. He does have a medical condition that means he cannot live with anyone who is immune compromised or with young children, this is something that our vet team will discuss with potential owners. Please don't let this put you off applying - if you have the experience this boy needs it could mean a very happy ever after for Toffee. To apply to adopt Toffee please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
