Millie is full of character and looking for a home with experienced owners. She is a wonderful girl but does prefer her own space at times therefore needs an owner who can read her body language. A quieter home with few visitors would suit her.

Type of home needed

Millie enjoys the company of calmer dogs and could live with the right canine companion. She cannot live with cats. At 10 years old she knows most basic training but will need to work on a few different areas using postive reward based training. She will need to be kept on lead in public places so having access to a garden with 4.5ft fence will give her somewhere to enjoy some off lead time.

More about me

Millie would be best living with children aged 16 years and older and this includes visitors. Once she has settled in she could be left for a few hours quite happily and tends to snooze but she would prefer someone around for most of the day to help her adjust. She will need to stay on a specific diet for medical reasons and this is something we will discuss with her new owners. She will make a great addition in her next home. Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
