Wilko

I'm looking for a new home...

Wilko is a really affectionate boy who is looking for his forever home. He came back into care due to no fault of his own. He will make a wonderful addition in his next home as he is very much a people dog. Having experience of owning dogs before is a must as he is looking to continue some socialisation around other dogs.

Type of home needed

Wilko can live with children over the age of 14 years old. He is looking to be the only pet in the home to soak up all the attention. He would love to have direct access to his own garden with 5ft fence. This gives him somewhere to play and burn off some energy as he is still active for his age. He will need to be kept on lead when in public places while he is working on his interactions with dogs and recall.

More about me

Having someone around most of the day would be best for Wilko but once settled he could be left for a few hours. Wilko is young at heart and looking for a fresh start in a calm and patient home. If you can offer him a forever home please apply. To apply to adopt Wilko please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
