We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Tigger is a lively boy who hasn't had the best start in life. He has found himself in numerous homes in his short life. He is looking for a committed home where he can continue his training to learn the life skills he may have missed out on as a puppy.

Type of home needed

Tigger is looking for a home with someone around for most of the day as he doesn't like being left on his own. This is something that should be built up over time. He is looking to be the only pet in the home while he works on his social skills. It would be best for him to live with a family that have owned dogs before and can continue training with reward based methods.

More about me

This enthusiastic guy can be over the top and mouthy at times so we will need his new owners to encourage calm behaviours. For this reason he would be best with children over the age of 16 years old. He will make a great companion in the right home. I am not currently available for rehoming as I would like to meet my new family a few times before going home, which is not possible due to current restrictions. My Canine Carers will let you know as soon as this changes, so keep an eye on my profile.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Tigger, who is based at Glasgow. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.
