About Max

German Spitz (Klein)
8 and over

To apply to rehome Max, please click the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found at which point, he will be removed from the website. Max is a cheeky chap that does not act his age - a grand 13! He's always up for walkies and having a good old zoom around the garden. He's got a real lust for life and in the perfect home, there's no doubt that he would be a great addition. Max has been living in one of our brilliant foster homes where we have been able to gain some more insightful information about him. He's a big foodie and absolutely loves a treat. He's gained a lot of confidence since living in foster and will either choose his own space to have a chill out or cuddle up close.

Type of home needed

Max is looking for a moderately busy home and would be comfortable living with primary-school aged children. He would be happy living with an older, quieter dog and has previously lived with a cat which is a potential for his new home depending on an initial meet. Max hasn't been left by himself for long periods of time and so this is something that would need to be built up gradually to ensure that he is comfortable and safe.

More about me

Max can be noise sensitive but doesn't mind the sound of his own voice, meaning that he can be vocal when faced with certain household noises. This is something that he's learning to get used to with the help of his foster family and so his adopters would be happy to continue helping him with this training. He has been doing brilliantly and has remained housetrained whilst out in his foster. Max has chronic bronchitis and will require lifelong medication. This can be discussed further upon a successful application.
