To apply to rehome Tweed, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Before you apply, please consider the tier you are living in and any travel restrictions that apply which may impact your rehoming procedure. Tweed is always looking for the next adventure on the horizon. He is a very full-on character with loads of personality simply bursting out of him. Tweed has not experienced much of what life has to offer yet, and will therefore be asking for his new family to see beyond his bull-in-a-china-shop persona and understand that he does have some underlying worries in a few areas. A special request would like to be made on Tweed's behalf- LOTS of fun toys and opportunities to explore the world around him! He is an extremely bright lad who will be needing a lot of mental stimulation in order to keep him happy and emotionally healthy.
Type of home needed
Tweed will be needing a medium to high level of physical exercise once he settles into his new home, and will also need his own secure garden with high fencing. Prior to arriving with us, Tweed lived with outdoors; When he ventures to his new home full consideration will need to be given to the fact that the home environment will be entirely new to him in all aspects. It may take Tweed a while to adapt to life in a home, but with the correct positive guidance he will make a super addition to the family.
More about me
Tweed is seeking an adult-only home where he can also be the only pet. He does struggle with anxiety when seeing other dogs, so a rural home in a low dog populated area will be the perfect match for this handsome boy. Particularly in the early days, it will be important for visitors to Tweed's home to be kept to a minimum, and an introduction plan to new people will need to be implemented once Tweed is comfortable making new friends. Due to the current covid-19 restrictions, Tweed is not able to go to his forever home just yet as he will require several meets with his new family. We can however continue to take new interest via the "come and meet me" button below. When restrictions ease, you will be able to discuss your rehoming application for this resident in more detail with a member of our team. Thank-you for your understanding and continued support!
