To apply to rehome AJ please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. AJ is hoping to find a loving new family who can provide him with a cozy home. He can be a little worried at the very first meet, but soon warms to new people and learns to trust them if a calm approach is taken. AJ tries his very best to be housetrained and always aims to please; With time he will be a wonderful member of the family.
Type of home needed
AJ will need a medium amount of physical exercise and he will need his time left alone to be built-up from scratch. Breed experience will be required due to his chase drive around other dogs, and although not essential, Aj would likely benefit from a home located in the countryside.
More about me
AJ will be able to live with another similar sized dog, but will NOT be able to live with small dogs, cats or other small furry pets. He will need children in his home to be at least 17 years old, although visiting children could be a little younger.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
