We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

To apply to rehome Carly please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Carly is an undeniably adorable girl who captures the hearts of all. She will need her family to see past her cute exterior and fully appreciate that she has complex needs in terms of her behaviour. Carly will need minimal visitors to her home, and must be promised a consistent routine to help her settle.

Type of home needed

Carly absolutely loves her food and toys, but is not the biggest fan of sharing; our team have dedicated a lot of time to 'swapsies' work which will need to be continued in her home. Carly will need a high level of physical exercise as she is happiest when on-the-go (particularly if a source of water may be near!). She does have cataracts which doesn't seem to affect her too much, but this may worsen with time as she gets older. Carly must also have her own part of the house where she will not be disturbed.

More about me

Carly is seeking an adult-only home with no visiting children under the age of 18 years. She will need to be the only pet in her home, but she can socialise with other dogs out and about on her walks (she is rather vocal when playing so would need tolerant playmates!). Carly will need her own secure garden to play in, and we will need to rehome her a maximum of 30 minutes from our Centre as ongoing support will be essential to Carly's success in her new home.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Carly, who is based at Evesham (Worcestershire). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
