This handsome chap has bundles of energy. Under all the bounce he is actually a very timid chap who is often misunderstood. Walter can struggle to relax and show his true personality, but our carers have seen glimpses of an amazing and bright chap who has great potential to flourish.
Type of home needed
Walter would prefer to join a quiet household where there are minimal visitors. He will require time to settle and build trust with his new owners. As he relaxes, his family should expect him to require more mental and physical stimulation for his collie needs.
More about me
Walter can live with children aged 16 and over. Walter can potentially live with another dog, but it will need to be a tolerant dog able to cope with his boisterous nature. Walter will need to be kept on lead near livestock and horses. His new family will need to travel to the centre on multiple visits before he'll be ready for adoption day
