Disney is an affectionate boy and enjoys his one on one time with his favourite carers. He is an active lad who enjoys being out and about exploring. Disney will need careful management around food as he does enjoy it a bit too much.
Type of home needed
Disney is looking for an experienced, active, adult only home with owners who are up for some training. He will need to continue his training with his dog skills which DT staff are progressing with. Disney will need to be on lead and muzzled out in a public, he would also prefer to travel to quieter areas to have a peaceful walk without distractions. He loves his toys but would prefer to keep them all to himself - he is learning that swapping is a good option. He will need to be the only pet in his new home.
More about me
Disney will be a great project for an owner looking for that. He is one of our training dogs so please contact the training team before making the journey so they can discuss Disney as he will need a specific layout in the home to aid his management around resources.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
