I'm looking for a new home...

About Bowser

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
5 to 7 Years
Sex:
Male

Likes

Bowser is a friendly lad who enjoys a fuss. He's super friendly and loves meeting new people just like he loves his food! He can be really gentle taking treats though. High value treats will be useful aid for his on-going training.

Type of home needed

Bowser is looking for a home with a secure garden and owners at home most of the day. He enjoys company so leaving hours will need to be built up gradually. He can live with children aged 14 years and over. Bowser is a big fan of adventures, exploring quieter, low dog populated areas. He has been working on his canine social skills as he can easily become overwhelmed; this training will need to be continued in the home.

More about me

Bowser may live with another dog pending a successful introduction. This may take a few meets so owners will need to be prepared to make multiple visits. The training team will be on hand to help guide new owners through Bowser's training needs.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Darlington Rehoming Centre in County Durham.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
