We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Ruby is an excitable girl full of energy and enthusiasm. She is looking for a very dedicated owner who is able to put the training in place which she so desperately needs. She is in many ways a typical Bull terrier, full of energy and fun, but her over enthusiasm needs channelling so that she matures into a well-rounded adult dog. This will take some time and she may be better suited to experienced dog owners. She can get worried and anxious when she sees other dogs and people out on walks, although she does need help with this she has made lots of progress already.

Type of home needed

Ruby is looking for a home where owners are around and have the energy and patience to put her training in place. She is currently undergoing training, and is lacking in doggy social skills so there is work needed here. Ruby needs a decent sized garden to be able to have a blast as she will need to be on lead out and about. She can live with teenagers over the age of 16 years who will not be phased by her over enthusiastic play. She will suit a home with families used to the breed. Training staff can offer help and advice to prospective owners. New owners will need to visit the centre to work with the training staff to help Ruby settle more easily into her new home.

More about me

I am not currently available for rehoming as I would like to meet my new family a few times before I go home, which is not possible at the moment due to current restrictions. My canine carer will let you know as soon as this changes, so keep an eye on my profile."

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
