Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Brian

2 to 5 Years

Brian is a 2 year old English Bull Terrier cross. He is full of energy and needs lots of play time and interaction with people. He loves a good game of tug and fetch with his toys, and he is also learning search games following scents, which is giving him something new to think about. His favourite treats are chicken strips, which will help with his further training. He's always busy so enrichment and mental stimulation will help him in his new home too.

Type of home needed

Brian is looking for an active home to continue his training. He could live with children aged 16 years or over and could potentially live with another dog pending successful meets at the rehoming centre. He would be best suited to a household that isn't too busy, as he easily gets over excited. He will need direct access to his own secure garden, and will need all of his basic training, including house training. Potential adopters must live within a 45 minute drive of the Canterbury Rehoming Centre.

More about me

If Brian sounds like your perfect match please get in contact to express an interest. Please note if you rent your property you must be able to provide written permission from your landlord to keep a dog to complete the rehome process. Due to expected high levels of interest you will only hear back from us if we are able to proceed with your application. We will conduct a rehoming interview with successful applicants and home visit via video. Access to emails and video technology will be essential for this process.

We do everything we can to provide essential care for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs who need us, now more than ever. If you'd like to help us during these challenging times, please make a donation. Your support means so much to us all, thank you.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Canterbury Rehoming Centre in Kent.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
