Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

Dougal

I'm looking for a new home...

About Dougal

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
8 and over
Sex:
Male

Likes

Dougal is a lovely 12-year-old Pembroke Corgi. He'd suit a quiet and relaxed home that can provide him with the home comforts he is currently missing. He's a real foodie which will definitely help with any training. He is not a fan of other dogs and is reactive towards them.

Type of home needed

Dougal is seeking a pet free home with any children aged 11 and over. Due to his reactiveness around other dogs he'll need to be walked in low dog populated areas, so that he can really enjoy his walks and surroundings

More about me

Dougal requires long term medication, this will be discussed with suitable applicants during the shortlisting stage. To apply to rehome Dougal please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below. Dougal will be removed from the website once a suitable match has been found.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
