Type of home needed

Hetty is a beautiful 6 year old Collie cross English Bull Terrier. She came into the centre through no fault of her own. She is a bright girl and knows sit, paw, down and speak. She is always eager to learn new commands. Hetty loves her long walks and is looking for an experienced, active home who will take her on lots of adventures. She can be a little worried at times when in new situations or meeting new people, so children in the home will need to be 14 years and over and have previous dog experience. Hetty will get on with dogs generally and can be quite full on with her play style; however, if a dog is unfriendly with her, she will stand her ground. New owners will need to find suitable doggy friends for her to mix with. She will be best suited as the only dog in the home. Unfortunately, Hetty is unable to live with cats/small furries.

More about me

Hetty enjoys travelling in the car and she is house trained. She is very smart and would enjoy a home where she is given lots of things to do to keep her both mentally and physically stimulated.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
