Gloria is a beautiful three-year-old Pug. She is a special girl who is looking for a very committed owner. Unfortunately, Gloria suffers from a medical condition which affects her breathing, and due to this, she must remain calm and quiet at all times. This can prove quite difficult, as Gloria has bounds of energy. Care would need to be taken especially during the warmer weather, as this can also affect her. Owners will need to be at home during the day to monitor her and in fairness, Gloria does crave human company and enjoys having lots of fusses. Gloria is social with dogs, but she will need to be the only pet in the home to limit her exertion.

Type of home needed

She can live with children 14 years and over who will understand her medical requirements. Any potential owners will need speak to our vet team to discuss her medical issues and how to manage them once she is in a home. Gloria must have direct to her own secure garden. Gloria is a delightful girl who has so much love to give. She just needs to be given the opportunity of being happy in a home and being loved by her new family. Ideally, Gloria's home will need to be within an hour's drive of the centre due to her medical condition.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
