Layla is a beautiful Collie cross Labrador. We are looking for a very experienced, committed owners for Layla who are willing to make multiple visits to get to know her due to her nervous nature. Ideally, potential owners will need to live within an hour of the centre for regular visits. Layla enjoys playing with other dogs and could live with another dog already established in the home. Care will need to be taken with visitors to the home as she is wary of strangers and advice will be given on introductions from our trainers.
Type of home needed
Layla will need to live in an adult only home where she given time to settle in at her own pace. She is very active and will enjoy long walks and she especially loves tennis balls to play with. We are unsure how Layla will cope with being left alone, so this will need to built up gradually. When Layla knows you, she is loving and fun.
More about me
We will be taking applications for Layla and the home chosen will be based on suitability. An appointment will then be arranged with the potential adopter to visit the dog at the centre. The applications close on Tuesday 04th August at 4pm. Please be aware that applications may close early if we receive a high level of applications. To request a rehoming questionnaire, please email [email protected] and a form will be emailed back to you.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
