Josie is a two year old large Crossbreed. She can be worried initially when meeting new people but given time and patience, she warms up quickly. Josie will need slow handling at the vets and in situations where she might feel uncomfortable.
Type of home needed
Josie would suit a home who has had similar breeds in the past and are used to bigger dogs. Josie will need an adult only home. Josie will need continued training with her socializing with other dogs so will need to be the only dog in the home. Josie cannot live with cats or smaller animals. Josie was toilet trained in her previous home but may need reminding and travels well in the car. Josie is a super sweet girl with plenty of energy who will make a fabulous addition in the right home.
More about me
We will be taking applications for Josie and the home chosen will be based on suitability. An appointment will then be arranged with the potential adopter to visit her at the Centre. To request a rehoming questionnaire, please email [email protected] and a form will be emailed back to you.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
