Dexter is a 6 year old Pug cross. He has a cheeky character and will need extra training, as he has previously shown guarding behaviour around his food bowl. Dexter also has shown unwanted behaviour around traffic and can get stressed when walking where there is lots of traffic. He would be best suited living and walking in a quieter area. Training advice will be given on these behaviours.
Type of home needed
Dexter can live with children 14 years and over and he will need to be the only dog in the home. Dexter is a fun and happy chap who would make a fun addition to your home.
More about me
We will be taking applications for Dexter and the home chosen will be based on suitability. An appointment will then be arranged with the potential adopter to visit the dog at the centre. The applications close on Tuesday 04th August at 4pm. Please be aware that applications may close early if we receive a high level of applications. To request a rehoming questionnaire, please email [email protected] and a form will be emailed back to you.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
