Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Casper

8 and over

Casper is a great doggy companion, he is a shy but very sweet natured and clever boy looking for a quiet home. He is housetrained and loves a snuggle once he gets to know you, his favourite toy to play with is a ball! Casper does not like it when people leave the house and is currently on a training plan to manage this so adopters will have to continue with this management.

Type of home needed

Casper is worried by busy environments and needs a quiet adult only home with no visiting children and few visiting adults. He does find walks stressful and so needs a home with a decent sized secure garden where he has plenty of space to run and play and where he will not have to be taken out for walks. Casper prefers to know you are closeby and likes to sleep in the bedroom with you at night. He needs to be the only dog in the home and needs a home where he is rarely going to be left alone.

More about me

A foster family are providing Casper with all of his favourite home comforts whilst he waits to find his forever home.Casper is a 9 year old Collie cross Jack Russell Terrier.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Ballymena Rehoming Centre in Northern Ireland.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
