I'm looking for a new home...

About Max

5 to 7 Years

Max is a happy and friendly little dog who loves meeting new people. He likes playing with his toys and getting out for walks. Max can find car travel a little stressful so would prefer not to go for long journeys. When meeting dogs out and about he can be quite excitable and over the top with them.

Type of home needed

Max is diabetic and we are looking for dedicated adopters who will be able to stick to a strict diet with him and provide two injections a day, 12 hours apart. Max is housetrained and sleeps in a crate in the kitchen in his foster home. He can live with another doggy companion if they don't mind him being a little bit more boisterous. He can live with secondary school aged children and older and due to his medical needs will need someone about the house with him for most of the day.

More about me

Max's foster carers have said he is adorable and a fab wee character.Max is a 6 year old Yorkie cross.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Ballymena Rehoming Centre in Northern Ireland.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
