I'm looking for a new home...

About Brucie

8 and over

Described by his carers at Dogs Trust Shoreham as 'a big ball of loveable energy'- meet Labrador cross, Brucie! A big fan of human company, this endearing eight-year-old highly values spending time with people and is bound to make for the most loyal and loving best friend to a family who can dedicate lots of their time to him.

Type of home needed

Much more a fan of company than spending time alone, Brucie is looking for a family who are always around at home to spend time with him. A multiple-person household would be beneficial, and the youngest members of his family will need to be over the age of 14. Brucie would be more than happy as the only pet at home but could potentially live with another smaller female dog if they were to get on well upon meetings at our rehoming centre. He could also potentially live with a 'dog-savvy' cat, depending on introductions and the layout of his new home. However, he is unable to share his home with any house rabbits or guinea pigs. Brucie favours peaceful walks in quieter areas rather than busy dog parks and will need a garden of his own to bound around in.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Shoreham Rehoming Centre in Sussex.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
