Likes

Billy is an energetic little lad who at 11 years young, shows no signs of slowing down. He loves his walks and likes to play but loves a good snuggle on the sofa (or in bed) too!

Type of home needed

Billy is worried when left on his own so needs understanding owners that are home with him all the time initially to help him settle and over time, help him to build his confidence around being left. Billy will need to be walked in quieter areas without many dogs around as he can be vocal on his lead. He could be introduced very steadily to a doggy friend to walk with but will need to be the only pet in the home. Billy loves people and could live with sensible children over the age of 12 years. He would like a secure garden to explore and an owner happy to share their furniture.

More about me

Billy does have some ongoing medical needs which our veterinary team would be happy to discuss with potential adopters. Billy is currently staying in a foster home.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Leeds Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
