Grizz is a lively 4-year-old Terrier Cross. He is happiest with a squeaky toy and loves to explore our woods with his canine carers. Grizz has lots of energy to burn, he's very clever and loves his food - all of these traits will help with his ongoing training. Grizz is a typical terrier - inquisitive and independent. He will benefit from adopters who are experienced with terriers and allow him to find his feet in a new home.
Type of home needed
Terriers love to keep busy so Grizz needs an adult only home with owners who will keep him both physically and mentally stimulated. He has a high chase drive so will need to have his own private garden to burn off energy and help further his housetraining. He does love his lead walks with some of the other canine residents but he will need to be in the only pet in the home. He can potentially be left for a few hours but this will need to be built up slowly. Grizz is a lovely dog, a bright spark who will make a rewarding companion for the right family.
