To apply to rehome Stella, please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Stella is an older lady who still has plenty of zest for life. She adores going for her walks out in the countryside, but equally loves a good snooze in a warm home. Stella has lived in a home previously, so should re-adapt to her new one quickly.
Type of home needed
Stella is seeking a fairly active home despite her age. She did have a tendency to escape her previous home, so would benefit from having a human around who can keep a close eye on her! She is a friendly girl who relishes company, and was left for around an hour at a time in her previous home. Stella is housetrained, but will require a little work in terms of getting used to car travel.
More about me
Stella could live with another dog based on introductions here at the Centre. She can live with primary school aged children (5 years plus), with any visitors being of the same minimum age. Stella could live with small furry pets if securely housed, and she has spent a good amount of time at equestrian yards previously, so could share her home with horses or livestock.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
