Mack is a handsome boy and very sweet but has not had a good start in life and needs lots of patience and training to become a well rounded boy. He is still only young and does not know much, so training and socialisation will need to be started from scratch. As he is unsure in his interactions with other dogs, he will be best placed in a home with no other pets.
Type of home needed
Mack is looking for dedicated owners, used to the breed, who are going to be around all day to put the training and socialisation in place. He will need an adult only home (with no children) as he won't cope with a very busy, noisy household. His new home will need to be patient with him, as although once his confidence levels increase, he will be an active boy, he currently finds the world quite scary so will need to be receive lots of mental enrichment whilst his training is being carried out. Mack is clearly very anxious in the home environment so it is going to be a big transition for him, so therefore this will be a gradual process. He does need his own secure garden.
More about me
Mack would be ideally suited to owners who have breed experience. Please ask about this beautiful boy before travelling to the centre, so that our trainers can discuss his needs. Interested people will need to visit Mack a few times to get to know him, and to work with the trainers to help him settle better in his new home, so need to live local to aid this.
