I'm looking for a new home...

About Noah

A Crossbreed
2 to 5 Years

This handsome chap is Noah, a sweet and fun-loving 2-year-old American Bulldog. This goofball loves nothing more than learning new tricks and going on exciting adventures with his friends here at the centre - walks with his canine companions are his absolute favourite! Food is certainly the way to his heart, and he loves learning new tricks and keeping his brain active in return for a tasty treat. Noah is a very fast learner and is currently passing Dog School with flying colours here at the centre. He can be a little unsure of new people, but once he knows you, he'll gladly lean into you for a bum scratch or a chin tickle. Being a young boy, he has a lot of energy and loves running after his toys (footballs and squishy toys are his favourite) - he'll bring them back to you and sit nicely ready for you to throw them again.

Type of home needed

Noah is looking for patient owners who are committed to continuing his training and giving him the time to shine into the wonderful boy we know here at the centre. He would like a quiet home with minimal visitors where he can build up a strong bond with his new family. His dream home needs to be non-open plan and set back from a quiet road so he can relax and play without being worried by visitors or passing people. Noah would love a large secure garden with at least 6ft fences where he can play football and let off some steam. He also enjoys a lot of mental stimulation and loves to work for his food and would like a home that is prepared to continue this. Noah loves long walks and adventures and travels well in the car so would like new owners to be able to take him to explore quieter areas where he can relax. He would like an adult only home with no visiting children but could live with another confident and playful dog, pending a successful meet and greet here at the centre.

More about me

Noah has really stolen the hearts of the staff here at the centre whilst waiting patiently for his loving forever home. He dreams of snuggling into a cosy duvet, playing with his favourite toys and learning new tricks for tasty treats. If you think you could be this big chunk of love's forever family, then please head down to the centre between 12-5 on Weekdays and 10-4 on Weekends to find out more.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Noah, who is based at Manchester. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. To start the rehoming process you will need to go to a rehoming centre for a quick chat. Please find information below about what to expect during the rehoming process. We hope to see you soon.

  1. The average time between visiting a Rehoming Centre and taking your new pet home is just eight days. Every circumstance is different but this brief guide lets you know what you will experience when you decide to rehome a dog from us.
  2. The rehoming centre is your gateway to finding your new pet pooch. When you arrive at the centre you will be greeted in reception by a friendly face.
  3. During this first visit we will take a few details from you so we know what you are looking for. You will be able to visit the dogs and we'll advise you on how to find the right dog for your circumstance and that your circumstances will work for the dog too.
  4. We would like you to get to know your chosen dog before you take him home so, if you have any other dogs or family members, you may need to bring them along for a further visit to ensure the whole family is happy with the decision.
  5. The fee for rehoming a dog is £150 (£140 in Ballymena due to extra dog licence fees),for puppies its £150 adoption fee plus a £45 Dog School fee but every dog is vet checked, microchipped, and neutered as well as a very cool Dogs Trust lead and collar - so we think it's a good deal!
  6. On rehoming your new dog from Dogs Trust you can receive 4 weeks' free insurance from our partner Petplan, this covers your dog for any unexpected illnesses and injuries, for further details and to activate your 4 weeks' free trial visit the Petplan website.
  7. So now you are ready to take your new pal home, just one more step which is a pre-adoption talk. This ensures you are aware of the responsibilities of dog ownership and reminds you that we are always here when you need us!
  8. Get in touch with the centre your dog is located at to arrange a visit.
