Cashew is a very cute little lad with typical terrier characteristics. He only likes to be a lap dog when it suits him so is looking for a hands off home that will respect his space and let him settle in his own time. As he is an older boy looking to put his paws up and relax but he isn't ready to retire just yet!
Type of home needed
Cashew can live with children over the age of 16 years old as he does like his own space. He can walk with other dogs but prefers to be the only pet in the home. Cashew is partially housetrained and will need his new owners to help him work on this.Once Cashew is settled he can be left alone for part of the day and really enjoys his own company. Using positive reward based training is a must based training is a must.
More about me
Cashew will need a garden, this will make housetraining easier and give him somewhere to potter around. The garden should be secure to keep him safe. He would prefer a home with few stairs due to his age. Cashew is enjoying the home comforts of a foster home and is available to meet by appointment.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming
centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will
continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We’d like to take this
opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything
they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked and looked after. We appreciate you
thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a
donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you
can do so here...
