Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Rolo

2 to 5 Years

Rolo is 5 year old Staffy cross. He is a sweet lad but does have some anxieties to work through which will be discussed with the centre trainers. Rolo will suit family who are familiar with bull breeds and are committed to Rolo's training needs. Rolo's home will need to be within an hour and a half from the rehoming centre, as multiple visits are required by his potential owners. The centre trainers will also want to take him on home visits to ensure he settles into his new home at a gradual pace.

Type of home needed

Rolo will need to be the only pet in an adult only home. He would benefit from living in a property that is set back from the road and gives access to quieter walking areas. He loves his walks and tends to keep to himself; however, new owners will need to be prepared to walk him in low dog populated areas as Rolo has shown worry around other dogs. Rolo has only been left for a couple of hours previously, but may require company for longer periods.

More about me

Rolo forms really strong bonds with his humans and looks upon them for reassurance. He loves a gentle fuss and playing tuggy or a game of fetch with a tennis ball - although he hasn't quite mastered the bringing back part yet. Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
