Axel is a quirky looking little lad who is only with us due to a change in his owners circumstances. We are looking for an experienced owner who can offer him the time he needs to settle. Once Axel knows you he is very affectionate and loves attention. He will require careful introductions to new people as he can be worried by strangers.
Type of home needed
Axel is looking to be the only pet in the home and it would be best to walk in dog free areas. He will need to be kept on lead when in public places. He loves walkies, especially if they involve splashing in water, and he would love to have a garden of his own where he can play. It should be secured with a 4.5ft fence. It would be best for Axel to live in a home with children over the age of 16 years old and have no visiting children to the home.
More about me
Axel would prefer to have someone around for most of the day although he could be left for a couple of hours. He would make a wonderful companion as he always makes time for a cuddle or snooze. After he has had a good game of tug of war of course! Visit our centre to find out more.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming
centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will
continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We’d like to take this
opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything
they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked and looked after. We appreciate you
thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a
donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you
can do so here...
