Are you right for Squash?

Squash can live with teenagers but will need to be the only pet, although she can walk with carefully chosen friends. We have no history for her and cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to spending time alone. Her family will need to be prepared to work on these if necessary.

Is Squash right for you?

Squash is such a lovely girl, and we think she may have been through a hard time. She was incredibly underweight on arrival and in her first few minutes she spotted a bag full of food that she swallowed, bag and all! She has ingested a toy or two also, her first few hours involved a trip to the vet to make her sick, so she's made quite the impression. Her family will need to take care around any food that is left lying around the house, and to monitor her when she’s playing with toys. She is muzzle trained to prevent her scavenging when she’s out and about. We know nothing of Squash’s background, but she is very sweet and friendly and has built a nice bond with her handlers and is very tactile. She is happy to see other dogs and has blossomed into quite a social girl. Squash comes alive when the toys come out and she happily drops them for you to throw again for you. She's such a sweetheart and really deserves a better future than the past she seems to have had.
