Are you right for Storm?

Tall and Handsome boy Storm is a 4 year old Dobermann cross Shepherd who is looking for a loving home to call his own. He loves a squeaky toy, especially squeaky balls, he will zoom around after them if thrown for him and will bring them back for another go, he will also happily play alone pouncing on the ball and batting it around. He can be quite an independent boy, but will come over for a quick fuss before wandering off again, he likes a head scratch. This gorgeous boy is ready to find his new home.

Is Storm right for you?

Storm is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him for sniffy adventures in quiet walking areas, or for a run around in a private field, a family to keep up his training and confidence around socialising with other dogs. He could live with secondary school children who are confident around a large dog, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Storm finds being in close proximity to dogs a little worrying, so would like to be the only pet in the home so he can have all of the attention to himself and no neighbouring dogs. Storm has some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit”, “down” and “stay”. He is a clever but busy boy and gets distracted easily so could engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat for encouragement. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden with 6ft fencing for him to potter about in. Storm can be a little worried being left, he could be left alone for up to 1-2 hours, but this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Storm will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
