Are you right for Nala?

Nala is a sweet, sensitive soul who has been working hard with our team and is now ready to find her forever home. Her ideal family would be happy working through some of Nala's training with our team and continuing this in her new home. Once she gets to know people she can be very affectionate and enjoys fuss and play time, but she can sometimes forget her size! For this reason she is looking for an adult-only home. Nala is able to walk with quieter dogs, but can get frustrated if there are too many around, so quiet, low-dog populated walking areas would be beneficial for her. Unfortunately, Nala cannot live with another dog currently, and cannot live with cats. Nala's ongoing medical issues with her hips means that her weight management and exercise will need to be carefully managed. She attends hydrotherapy sessions and is on medication. Our vet team will be happy to talk to you about this prior to adoption. If Nala's medical needs are the only barrier to you considering her then we would still love to hear from you.

Is Nala right for you?

Nala is 2 years old and has been with us a while now. She progressed through her training and absolutely flourished, and is more than ready to find her forever home. Nala is still young and loves her toys and treats which has made her training fun for her and us, and so with a training-minded family she will fit right in. Throughout her stay in kennels she has remained housetrained, though this may need refreshing when she makes the transition into a new home. Nala can be left for an hour or so, and we believe she has the potential to be left longer if this is built up slowly once she has settled. She has a good history of car travel though, so would be happy to join her family on trips out and about instead. Nala is heaps of fun and can’t wait to share her playtimes with her new family.
