Are you right for Odie?

Odie is looking for a quiet, experienced home with adopters who can help him adapt and settle in his new home. Whilst Odie is good with other dogs out and about, he can become stressed and over-stimulated in indoor environments so is looking for a home where he will be the only dog. Odie's ideal home would be a home with a predictable routine and minimal visitors as he can find new people quite scary. He could live with children aged 14+ who are calm and sensible around nervous dogs. Odie does become very attached to his favourite people and struggles being left so we are looking for a multi-person household with little to no leaving, with adopters willing to build this up very slowly over time as he settles.

Is Odie right for you?

Odie is a 3-year-old Dachshund who sadly has not had the best start to life. He takes a while to trust new people and can be reactive to strangers, but once he builds a bond with you he will become your best friend and loves to snuggle and play. Odie can find new situations quite stressful so is looking for a home with adopters who are happy and willing to give him lots of time to slowly help his confidence grow.
