Are you right for Roxy?

Roxy is three years old and searching for a PAWfect match. She is in foster with another Daxie, who came into our care via the pound. Roxy loves being out in the garden, she is happy to have a fuss from her foster mum, checking in regularly to ensure she gets a good stroke and scratch, then she’ll pick up a toy and head into the garden. Roxy has been good to handle, she stands nicely to have a harness on, everything on a walk is exciting, new smells, new paths and people she just has to say hello to! So she can pull a but, however due to her size is not to strong. Roxy likes toys, and will happily drop them in the garden for you to collect. She loves all treats that have been offered so far, a great way to bond! She’d love enrichment toys that are food focused and she is willing to learn, so reward based training should be a winner! Roxy travelled well in the car to her vet check up upon intake to foster.

Is Roxy right for you?

Roxy would like someone home most of the day while she settles. She would be happy to share a home with children who are dog savvy and understand when a dog should have time to themselves. Roxy has lived with other dogs and could live with a neutered dog of similar size. She is happiest in the sunshine and is also happy to snuggle beside you.

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
