Rolo

I'm looking for my forever home. Could you be my perfect match?

Are you right for Rolo?

Meet our little man Rolo, he's a 5 year old Dachshund who is hoping to find his paw-fect forever home. Rolo is a gentle and sometimes worried lad who much prefers a slice of the quiet life. He loves nothing more than getting cosy in a soft bed or sniffing out some snacks in the long grass on his walkies. Rolo has lived in a home previously where he was housetrained and quite happy spending a few hours home alone. Due his sensitive nature, we think Rolo would be best suited to an adult only home with no visiting children. Rolo can find loud noises such as fireworks quite frightening so it's important he can have a safe space to retreat to if he's feeling overwhelmed. He has been learning to wear a muzzle for his vet visits, which he's learning means lots of positive things (like tasty treats) and he's been making friends with our vet team to build his confidence. His new family will need to be committed to visiting Rolo here at the centre a few times to build a relationship with him before he's ready to head off home. We're currently still assessing Rolo's interactions with other dogs, so whilst he needs to be the only pet for now this may change as we learn more about him.

Is Rolo right for you?

Rolo is a sweet little lad with so much love to give. He's hoping for a peaceful home where he can enjoy his favourite things like gentle fusses, snuggly bed and afternoon snoozes. If you think you have the time and patience to help Rolo feel at ease, then get in touch with our rehoming team!
