Are you right for Pickles?

Pickles is a 1 year old crossbreed with a friendly nature, looking for an active home that can keep up with his energy and curiosity. He would thrive with adopters who enjoy getting outdoors and can offer plenty of daily exercise, enrichment and opportunities to explore, ideally in quieter areas where he can sniff and unwind. A home with a secure garden would suit him perfectly, giving him space to play and relax, and he could happily live with children aged 12 and over who understand his needs. Pickles is very social with other dogs and would benefit from regular companionship, whether through walks or potentially sharing his home with a calm dog of a similar temperament. While he settles well overall, he can be a little sensitive to sudden noises and forms a strong attachment to his people, so he’ll need a patient home willing to build up his independence gradually and help him feel secure.

Is Pickles right for you?

Pickles is a gentle, affectionate boy with a wonderfully balanced personality, combining playful puppy energy with an easy-going, calm side. He loves meeting people and other dogs, greeting everyone with enthusiasm and warmth, and his friendly nature makes him a joy to have around. Clever and intuitive, he’s already housetrained and will even let you know when he needs to go out - sometimes taking matters into his own paws by opening the door himself! Pickles adores his toys, and especially loves a good game of tug. With his love of tasty treats (liver cake being a firm favourite), his affectionate yet independent nature and his charming quirks, Pickles would make a wonderful companion for the right home.
