Are you right for Betty?

Betty is on the search for her forever home! She is looking for adopters who can help her learn what it is like to live in a home. She would like adopters who are enthusiastic about positive reinforcement training methods and using rewards for good behaviour. Betty would be best suited to a home without other animals, as she can be quite intense. However, she may be able to live with a well-matched dog in the future, as she is friendly. Betty can have a private or communal garden; however, either option will need to be secure, with 6ft fencing. She can be left for up to 4 hours by herself, although this time will need to be built up gradually, as she will be adjusting to living in a home. Betty is super friendly but can jump up and be overexcited, so she can go home with confident children aged 10+. Visiting children can be younger if monitored and confident, with the option to separate if needed. She would like her future adopters to be comfortable with walking her on lead, as she can pull.

Is Betty right for you?

Betty is a very affectionate and playful girl. She likes attention from her people and playing in small bursts with her ball. Betty loves nothing more than sleeping on the sofa next to you or with her head on your lap. Betty will make a wonderful addition to a family!

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
