Are you right for Benji?

7 year old Benji is a sweet boy who's so deserving of a chance to find his forever family. He is looking for a adult only home with a maximum of two people, any new adopters will need to meet multiple times here at the centre and be available for home visits. Benji will need a secure private garden of his own to sniff around in and explore without distraction. Out and about Benji is not a fan of large dogs he prefers smaller calm walking buddies, he is muzzle trained and will need to wear it in certain environments and situations (our training team will advise further with any new adopters and are always here for support ). At home he will need to be the only pet, Benji has shown he values some treats and toys so knowledge of resource guarding would be advisable. Benji is super foodie and never says no to a tasty treat this is a great way to build on a relationship with him. Benji is a cheeky boy and has a very fun loving personality once you know him, it just takes a little bit of time and patience for him to open up his heart to new people. Benji will make an incredibly rewarding rehome to someone who can give him space, love and commitment to continue the fantastic work the team have started with him.

Is Benji right for you?

Our Benji Boy is a really clever boy who loves training games and puzzles he has even learnt a little bit of heelwork to music here at the centre! This clever boy is not easily fooled and is always happy to learn a new trick. Benji adores getting out for a stroll, walks nicely on the lead but also really loves running around, especially when he sees his favourite tennis. A game of fetch is non negotiable in Benji's opinion. Benji travels well in the car and loves a day trip out to quiet locations exploring new ground. Benji has lots of handlers here at the centre and is a firm favourite with lots of staff, all he needs is patience, love and dedication to give him the fresh start he deserves. We know he will be an amazing dog for the right person. Could it be you?
