Are you right for Dottie?

Beautiful Dottie is a fantastic 8 year old collie looking for lots of love and affection from her people. She is a social girl happy to have dog friends and can live with a dog if it's the right match but she would prefer to be the only dog as she loves her people more! Dottie would like a reasonably busy home and can be left if needed for a couple of hours without issues but Dottie would love a home that can keep her mentally stimulated being a collie, she likes to use her brain and go on adventures! Dottie came into care no fault of her own and is fully house trained if let out regularly, she also is great in the car so is an ideal girl to travel with! Dottie's favourite things are balls and some nice sniffy walks. Dottie has previously lived with dogs and birds so has got potential to live with either again with careful introductions and has also been great meeting children therefore she could live in a home that has children 8 years and up.

Is Dottie right for you?

Dottie is a bit worried in the vets so some confidence building would be good to do in this area but she's an all round perfect girl ready for her perfect home! Dottie is currently on our Homestay scheme so is able to stay with her current owner until we find the perfect match.

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
