Are you right for Ned?

Meet wonderful Ned, a gorgeous 3-year old Collie looking for his forever home! Ned is able to live with another dog in the home, pending a successful meet in the centre. Ned could live with children 14yrs+ that are able to give him his time out when he needs it. Ned is an incredibly affectionate boy once you have built a bond with him, and he will jump on your lap for a cuddle! Ned can be a bit worried in new environments, but he's building confidence here in the centre everyday. He loves to get out for sniffy walks and explores where he can take in all the sights and smells around him! Any adopters would need to be patient and able to let him come round at his own pace, but also help him with some confidence building! Ned is an active breed so will need lots of mental and physical stimulation, but he's a super clever boy and we think he'll enjoy tricky enrichment and puzzle games! Ned is a super sweet boy that deserves a gentle, kind family that are willing to read his body language and give him the time and encouragement he needs in a new environment. He really is looking for a nice quiet home where he can receive all the cuddles he deserves!

Is Ned right for you?

Ned is a very sweet boy, with bags of potential! He is underconfident in some situations and meeting new people, so he would need a little bit of encouragement and confidence building in his new home. Ned hasn't been left on his own before, so any time on his own would need to be built up over time to ensure he's comfortable and happy. Ned has never been walked on lead before, so he will need some support in this area, however his love for sniffing will help him come round and build confidence! He's a brave boy and has shown himself as being a little angel. Ned tolerates vet checks and restraint, however it can be overwhelming for him so he may benefit from building a bond with his potential veterinarian to ensure he has happy vet visits! We cannot wait to see him in his forever home!!
