Are you right for Poppy Flower?

Poppy is a 2 year 3-month-old Collie cross who is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the only pet. She’s a bright, high-energy girl who enjoys staying active and would love a home that can give her plenty of exercise and enrichment. While she would benefit from access to a secure outdoor space, this isn’t essential as long as her needs are met in other ways. Poppy will need time and patience to settle, including gradually building up any time left alone, and her new family should be happy to work alongside our behaviour team. She can take a little while to get to know new people, so potential adopters should be prepared to visit her a few times. Poppy can find vet visits worrying and is currently learning to feel more comfortable wearing a muzzle.

Is Poppy Flower right for you?

Poppy is a sweet and sensitive girl who can find kennel life overwhelming at times. Our training team are supporting her in building confidence and forming positive relationships, and she continues to make lovely progress. She would thrive with experienced owners who are patient, understanding, and keen to continue her training journey. We would also be happy to support her transition with home visits. Poppy is a very clever dog who loves her tennis balls and enjoys herding-style games, which are a great outlet for her energy and instincts. In the right home, she has all the potential to become a truly wonderful and devoted companion—especially for someone who loves collies.
